Scrum Master

We are looking for a talented Scrum Master for our Sant Just Desvern office to work closely with our Product Owners and development teams.

Dorna Sports is an international sports management, marketing and media company which, among others, manages MotoGP™, the pinnacle of motorcycle racing competition.

With an outstanding experience at OTT platforms, we provide video live streaming to our worldwide paying subscribers and the company’s data generation is growing exponentially, thus bringing new challenges to the business and data analytics departments.

Dorna Sports is also intensely working on its digital transformation, and this role is a great opportunity for you to work in a world recognized media company, dynamic and in a fast-paced environment which focuses on teamwork, stability and performance.

Opportunity

As our Scrum Master, you must demonstrate a strong understanding of agile software development as well as an in-depth knowledge of Scrum principles, practices, and theory, you will help guide the development team to deliver challenging projects. 

You will be responsible for

In your squads

Monitor the progress of the squad and the scope of goals in the daily stand-up sessions through burn-down charts or other tools.

Work closely with the product owner, development team as well as other engineering teams within the company.

Moderation of meetings e.g. stand up, planning, review, retrospective and remove impediments and barriers preventing team progress.

Coordinate the interaction with other teams inside and outside the Agile methodology.

Employee responsible for the work efficiency of the squad and the correct use of the Agile methodology.

Empower the team towards maximizing its performance and enable a motivated and autonomous team.

Ensure compliance and continuous Improvement of Agile ceremonies and other tools of the methodology to deliver efficiency to teams.

Create and maintain atmosphere of trust in the team by facilitating retrospective and feedback exchange between team members.

Leading and coaching your team(s) in its Agile adoption and promoting delivery of business value.

Cross company

Moderation of meetings.

Help in reviewing the company’s processes.

Detect our organizational waste and promote changes that will increase our efficiency.

Builds coordination mechanisms with other areas.

Training

Help the company to understand Agile, Scrum and Kanban.

Help the company to use the corporative tools (Jira, Confluence and Slack)

To apply, you should have

Previous experience as the Scrum Master or with previous training / certification as Scrum Master.

Teamwork and good communication skills.

Deep knowledge in Agile, Scrum and Kanban.

Tools knowledge: Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence) and Slack.
