PROJECT COORDINATOR - WOMEN IN MOTORSPORT (GENEVA - SWITZERLAND)

In order to strengthen its CSR team, the FIA is recruiting a talented person, driven by a desire to learn, and open to diversity within the motor sport environment.


Reporting to the Social Responsibility Programmes Manager, the Project Coordinator actively provides support to the Women in Motorsport (WiM) projects, and coordinates the activities and related events. The position requires frequent business trips to attend meetings or go trackside.


MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Coordinate the different projects related to WiM (Rising Star, Girls on Track, Virtual Experience, etc.) including budget, communication, partnerships, reporting.

Assist in the management of the FIA WiM Commission and support its steering groups.

Contribute to the development of relevant educational, sporting and communication tools and support for the National Sporting Authorities (ASNs) to develop gender equality programmes at the national level.

Manage the different FIA platforms related to WiM (FIA Networks, WiM Database, Salesforce, etc.).

Coordinate the communication related to all WiM projects, particularly social media.

Support in identifying best practices, benchmarking other federations and organisations, drafting project proposals, etc.

Acting as FIA WiM Representative at FIA internal and external events is necessary.



PROFILE:


Graduate or post-graduate degree in fields such as Journalism and Mass Communication, Social Sciences, Project Management, International Relations (non-exhaustive examples).

Motor sport background is strongly desirable (driver, PR, trackside coordination or any other relevant activities) that gives a broad knowledge of the functioning of this sport, its disciplines and existing challenges with regard to women.

Three to five years of relevant experience in project coordination (with the ability to deliver objectives on time and on budget), communication and event organisation, in an international and multicultural environment.

Fluent English, good knowledge of French would be an asset.

Daily use of social networks (publishing content, following trends, etc.).

Proficient in the use of presentation software such as PowerPoint, both in content and layout.

Proficient in administrative tasks (organisation and preparation of meetings, drafting minutes, etc.).

Good at working to deadlines with an excellent sense of organisation and prioritisation.

A positive person who is problem-solving oriented, flexible and able to adapt.
