This role will support our Motorsport business within the UK and Europe and a willingness to travel is essential.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILTIES:
To manage designated customers to achieve agreed objectives for customer satisfaction and business development ensuring Cosworth is the supplier of choice.
Working with the Motorsport Director, help deliver on the Commercial Strategy for Motorsport and ensure it meets business objectives.
Be the example of best practice in our high performance commercial team, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and managing a business pipeline to exceed budgeted revenue.
Ensure robust commercial processes and plans are in place and followed; championing the use of our CRM system by all.
Work with other departments to review and enhance the commercial and technical offering.
Report and communicate performance to the commercial team.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTER:
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience in a commercial role, preferably in the Motorsport sector and/or of electronic control systems.
Have a strong commercial background involving direct sales and business development, contract negotiation and demonstrable experience in delivering exceptional key account management.
Be a goal-orientated individual who thinks creatively to achieve their objectives.
Be Enthusiastic, politically astute and an effective networker.
Demonstrate outstanding communication skills, capable of delivering technical messages clearly at all levels.
Be able to demonstrate consistency and integrity in decision making and dealing with people.
Possess the ability to lead by example, enable effective team and personal development.
Display a passion to deliver commercial success, enjoys spending time with customers and developing new business.
