Renault Sport Racing have an opportunity to join our team at a tremendously exciting time in our history within Formula 1. As an Hydraulics Technician, you will be a part of the production division working with state of the art equipment contributing significantly to Renault Sport’s success on the track. You will be a part of a close knit and excellent team, where teamwork is paramount.

Hydraulics Technician - The Role

The main responsibility of this role will involve the assembly, maintenance, repair and test of all the hydraulic components on and off the car. You will be responsible for the build of hydraulic components in a safe manner, to the highest standards, to achieve 100% reliability. You will be focused on identifying potential faults during build stage and effectively communicating these points to relevant designers and reliability engineers. Here at Renault Sport, you will be working with state of the art equipment and a driven team to deliver excellence.

This role will require some travel to races.

Hydraulics Technician – The Person

You will of course be able to interpret detailed hydraulic related technical drawings, including circuit diagrams, a full working knowledge of hydraulic servo systems and ideally have experience in the assembly of either motorsport or aerospace hydraulic system components. The successful candidate will also have an understanding of Atlas data acquisition software and have familiarity with hydraulic cleanroom operations/practices. Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail are a must, alongside the ability to work under pressure.
