About us
The ABB FIA Formula E Championship is the world’s first fully-electric international single-seater racing series and one of the fastest growing sports on the planet. Consisting of some of the world’s finest drivers and greatest car manufacturers, the Championship brings close-combat, wheel-to-wheel racing to the streets of the most progressive cities.
Formula E is more than just a race. With a grid made up of all-electric cars, it’s a competitive platform to test and develop road-relevant technologies, helping to refine the design of electric vehicles while promoting the uptake of clean mobility to tackle air pollution on a global scale.
Working with us
At Formula E, we have created an environment that supports our colleagues to perform at their best. We are innovative, curious and we love the world we live in which is why we value sustainability. We believe that work should be fun and, whilst we are passionate about delivery, we are one team and supporting each other is key to our success.
Your role
The Head of Event Experience (maternity cover) role is an event and experiential position running the Formula E fan experience, with a key focus on the operational delivery of the Allianz E-Village.
The Allianz E-Village is a global touring fan festival devoted to showcasing electric street racing, experiencing the latest global innovations driving forward sustainable futures and being surrounded by entertainment. All of this builds up to the pinnacle of the day – the exhilarating combative Formula E all electric race and podium ceremony.
The Allianz E-Village is an inclusive and accessible event, meaning that it is designed to deliver a lasting experience for our audience with activities for families and motorsport fanatics alike. Fans are brought up close and personal with the championship through activities with the drivers, including public autograph sessions, fans racing drivers in the E-Race and a podium ceremony that puts the fans at the heart of the celebration.
S7 will likely look different to previous seasons and therefore the fan experience may vary from event to event to ensure we deliver opportunities in our markets to engage fans while working to covid requirements.
